  • 1 pound Boneless skinless chicken thighs
For the Marinade
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dark soy sauce optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground allspice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced or garlic powder if needed
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar can substitute honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil can use other oils
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil toasted for extra flavor

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the soy sauces, allspice, garlic, and brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Heat the skillet and add olive oil and sesame oil.
  4. Add chicken to skillet and brush with half of the marinade, cook for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip chicken, brush with remaining marinade and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Flip again for 2-4 minutes, then let rest before serving.
  7. Serve warm with jasmine rice or sautéed vegetables.
