Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the rice according to package directions. Typically boil water, add rice, simmer for 15-20 minutes, then let sit covered for 5 minutes before fluffing.
  2. While the rice is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle in taco seasoning, add 1/2 cup of water, mix well, and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Rinse and drain black beans and corn, chop cilantro, and warm beans and corn in the microwave if preferred.
