Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare and brown the sausages by pricking them with a fork, heating oil in skillet, and browning sausages for about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté diced onions for 5-7 minutes until soft, then add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  3. Sprinkle in curry powder and toast for 1-2 minutes, then add flour and whisk in broth to create sauce.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce; if using, add optional ingredients like chopped apple or sliced carrots.
  5. Return browned sausages to skillet, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25-45 minutes.
  6. In the last 5 minutes, add frozen peas, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, and serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
