Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, blend together soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil until well combined. Cut your beef into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade. Ensure each piece is fully coated, then let it marinate at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, preheat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until it becomes hot.
- Add the marinated beef cubes in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on one side until rich brown, then flip and sear the other side for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring gently until the marinade thickens and coats the beef evenly.
- Once the sauce has thickened, serve your Easy Asian Steak Bites immediately, on a bed of rice, alongside noodles, or wrapped in lettuce leaves.
