Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Japchae
  1. Soak the sweet potato glass noodles in warm water for about 30 minutes until tender and pliable. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and stir-fry the thinly sliced beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add oil if needed, and stir-fry the chopped vegetables for about 4-5 minutes until just tender.
  4. Return the cooked beef and vegetables to the skillet, then add the drained noodles.
  5. Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture, stir gently, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving and enjoy your Japchae hot as a main course or alongside rice.
