- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until evenly browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and optional ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the sautéed beef in the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
