Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until evenly browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and optional ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the sautéed beef in the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Scoop warm, cooked rice into bowls and spoon the beef mixture on top.
  6. Garnish each bowl with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and optional vegetables.
