Cooking Steps
- Start by preparing your rice according to the package instructions, using a medium saucepan.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, sriracha, and water until smooth.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and white parts of the chopped green onions. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
- Once the beef is browned, reduce heat to low and pour in the prepared sauce. Mix thoroughly and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- To serve, place rice into each bowl, spoon the beef mixture on top, and add toppings like shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, kimchi, and garnish with sesame seeds.
