  1. Lay out 8 slices of sourdough bread on a flat surface, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  2. Spread a generous layer of pesto evenly on each slice of sourdough.
  3. Divide and place fontina cheese onto each pesto-covered slice.
  4. On the remaining slices, stack the turkey slices on top of the cheese.
  5. Layer Roma tomato slices atop the turkey.
  6. Close the sandwiches using the pesto-covered slices reserved earlier.
  7. Gently press down on each sandwich to help meld the ingredients together.
