Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place mozzarella balls into skull-shaped molds, lightly greasing them with olive oil if desired. Bake for about 6 minutes, just until softened. Allow them to cool in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before removing from the molds.
- In a large mixing bowl, layer your chosen mixed salad greens as the base. Drizzle with olive oil and optional lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the greens.
- Sprinkle sliced cherry tomatoes over the mixed greens. Nestle the mozzarella skulls on top and tear fresh basil leaves across the salad.
- Drizzle generously with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Finish with flaky sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Serve the salad promptly for the best texture and flavor.
