Steak
  • 1 pound Steak (Ribeye, Sirloin, or Filet Mignon) Choose according to preference
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For searing the steak
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Essential for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Garlic For flavoring the sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can swap for half-and-half
  • ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for richness

  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the shell pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Transfer to a plate.
  4. Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Add drained pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Allow to absorb flavors for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve the pasta in bowls topped with seared steak bites.
