  • 1 head Cabbage Choose a large head
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat
  • 2 cups White Rice Cooked
  • 1 large Onion Minced
  • to taste Salt & Pepper Adjust seasoning to preference
For the Sauce
  • 4 cans Campbell's Tomato Soup Can use other brands, flavor may vary
  • 2 cans Water Mix with tomato soup for consistency

Method
 

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook rice in a pot with water. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until tender.
  2. Boil water in a large pot and gently submerge head of cabbage for 4 to 6 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooled rice, minced onion, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, mix tomato soup with water until smooth.
  5. On a cabbage leaf, place filling, roll tightly, and place seam-side down in a greased dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake covered for 2.5 hours.
  7. Serve warm, drizzling extra sauce on top.
