  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs substitutable with gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves Garlic freshly minced
For the Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey raw honey is preferred
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce gluten-free tamari can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch used as a thickener
To Serve
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and desired seasonings. Mix gently.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-2 inch meatballs and lay them on a plate.
  3. Grease the crockpot and arrange meatballs in a single layer. Pour honey garlic sauce over them. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  4. 15 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir into the sauce and let cook until thickened.
  5. Serve meatballs with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, paired with rice or salad.
