Equipment

  • Large Frying Pan
  • baking sheet
  • Large serving board or platter

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add 1 medium chopped sweet onion and sauté for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion is tender and translucent.
  2. Add 2 pounds of ground turkey to the pan with the sautéed onions. Sprinkle in 1 packet of taco seasoning along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the turkey is browned and fully cooked through.
  3. While the meat is cooking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Once the ground turkey is ready, it’s time to assemble. Carefully fill each of the 30 taco shells with the cooked meat mixture, and top them with 1 pound of Tillamook Mexican 4-Cheese.
  5. While the tacos warm, grab a large serving board or platter. In the center, place a bowl filled with shredded lettuce and generously sprinkle the chopped tomatoes around it.
  6. Next, arrange small bowls of salsa, guacamole, sliced olives, and sour cream around the edges of the board.
  7. Once the tacos are heated through, carefully remove them from the oven. Arrange the warm tacos around the serving board.
  8. As your guests arrive, remind them to build their tacos with their desired toppings and flavors.
