Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add 1 medium chopped sweet onion and sauté for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onion is tender and translucent.
- Add 2 pounds of ground turkey to the pan with the sautéed onions. Sprinkle in 1 packet of taco seasoning along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the turkey is browned and fully cooked through.
- While the meat is cooking, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Once the ground turkey is ready, it’s time to assemble. Carefully fill each of the 30 taco shells with the cooked meat mixture, and top them with 1 pound of Tillamook Mexican 4-Cheese.
- While the tacos warm, grab a large serving board or platter. In the center, place a bowl filled with shredded lettuce and generously sprinkle the chopped tomatoes around it.
- Next, arrange small bowls of salsa, guacamole, sliced olives, and sour cream around the edges of the board.
- Once the tacos are heated through, carefully remove them from the oven. Arrange the warm tacos around the serving board.
- As your guests arrive, remind them to build their tacos with their desired toppings and flavors.
