- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- Cream together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

- Press the crumbly dough evenly into the greased baking pan.
