  • 1 cup marinara sauce or pesto for a twist
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional
For the Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated, or pecorino for a different flair
  • 1/4 cup Italian parsley freshly minced

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions (3-5 minutes) until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the drained tortellini with olive oil until even coated.
  4. Spread the tortellini in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with chili flakes, Parmesan cheese, and parsley after removing from the oven.
  6. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
