Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your roasting pan.
- Season the turkey inside and out with salt and pepper, then stuff it with the stuffing mixture.
- Place the stuffed turkey in the roasting pan covered with foil and roast for approximately 3 hours.
- Boil water in a pot, add mixed vegetables, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender, then set aside.
- Combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into a baking dish and set it aside.
- After 2.5 hours, place the pumpkin dish in the oven alongside the turkey for the last 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil from the turkey for the last 30 minutes to achieve crispy skin.
- Once the turkey reaches 165°F (74°C), remove it from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
