Preparation

- Season the turkey inside and out with salt and pepper. Stuff with the chosen stuffing mix.
- Place the turkey breast-side up in a roasting pan and cover loosely with aluminum foil.
- Boil water in a pot, add mixed vegetables, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Mix together pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into a baking dish.
- Place the baking dish with the pumpkin mixture in the oven alongside the turkey.
- Remove the foil from the turkey for the last 30 minutes of roasting.
- Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
