  • 1/2 small Onion finely diced
  • 3 cups Green Cabbage shredded
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced

  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil or avocado/olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
For the Finish
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 2 Green Onions sliced, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds optional for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
  2. Add the finely diced onion to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent and tender.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ground ginger, cooking for about 1 minute to allow the garlic to become fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded green cabbage to the skillet with the beef mixture. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the cabbage is tender yet still slightly crunchy.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour this sauce over the beef and cabbage mixture, stirring well.
  6. Taste the dish and season with salt and black pepper as needed. Garnish with freshly sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
