Ingredients

For the Cream Mixture
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Substitute with coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Adjust based on preference or use a sugar alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Use pure vanilla for a more aromatic result.
  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese Can be swapped with dairy-free cream cheese for a vegan option.
For the Ladyfingers
  • 24 pieces Ladyfinger Cookies Ensure they are quick-dipped to avoid sogginess.
  • 1 cup Coffee Use espresso for a bolder taste.
For the Strawberry Layer
  • 2 cups Strawberries Can swap with raspberries or blueberries for variety.
For the Finishing Touch
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder Omit for a lighter presentation or add for a hint of chocolate flavor.

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • electric mixer
  • shallow dish
  • spatula
  • sifter

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by pouring heavy cream into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and vanilla extract, then whip the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Gently add the mascarpone cheese to the whipped cream. Using a spatula, fold the mascarpone into the cream mixture with smooth, sweeping motions.
  3. Brew a cup of strong coffee or espresso and let it cool completely. Pour the coffee into a shallow dish, making it easy to dip the ladyfingers.
  4. Take each ladyfinger cookie and briefly dip it into the cooled coffee for about 1-2 seconds. Arrange the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers, ensuring it covers them evenly. Add a layer of freshly sliced strawberries on top.
  6. Continue layering the ingredients by repeating the soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone mix, and another layer of sliced strawberries.
  7. Sift cocoa powder lightly over the top layer of mascarpone. Make sure to use just enough to cover the surface.
  8. Cover the assembled Strawberry Tiramisu with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better blending. A quick dip of ladyfingers in coffee retains their structure. This dessert is best served chilled.
